जागतिक महिला दिन कार्यक्रम
दि. ८ मार्च २०२५

सेंटर फॉर पब्लिकेशन एथिक्स, सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठामध्ये दि. ८ मार्च २०२५ रोजी जागतिक महिला दिन साजरा करण्यात आला. या दिनाचे औचित्य साधून मंथन फौंडेशनच्या प्रमुख श्रीमती आशा भट्ट यांना अतिथी म्हणून बोलाविण्यात आले होते. सेंटर फॉर पब्लिकेशन एथिक्सच्या समन्वयक प्रा. शुभदा नगरकर यांनी अतिथींचे स्वागत केले.

मंथन फौंडेशन सामाजिक क्षेत्रामध्ये गेली १४ वर्षे मानवी आरोग्य, मानवी विकास, लिंग समानता आणि मानवी हक्क यासाठी काम करते. श्रीमती आशा भट्ट यांनी केंद्रातील कर्मचाऱ्यांशी संवाद साधताना त्यांचा बालपणापासून ते मंथन फौंडेशन पर्यंतचा प्रवास उलगडला. तसेच त्यांचा फ्रान्समध्ये असतानाचा अनुभवदेखील सांगितला. यावेळी त्यांनी "महिलांनी स्वतःला कधीही कमी न लेखता स्वतःच्या ध्येयपूर्तीसाठी झटले पाहिजे. त्याचप्रमाणे प्रत्येक स्त्रीने फक्त चूल आणि मूल यातच अडकून न राहता स्वतःची ओळख निर्माण केली पाहिजे" असे सांगताना महिला सक्षमीकरणावर भर दिला.

यावेळी जयकर ज्ञानस्रोत केंद्रातील एमिरिट्स प्रोफेसर डॉ. बी. एम. पानगे व श्री. अनंत साबणे उपस्थित होते. प्रा. शुभदा नगरकर यांनी अतिथींचे आभार मानले.

'लेखक आपल्या भेटीला'

कार्यक्रम पत्रक


सेंटर फॉर पब्लिकेशन एथिक्स आणि सेंटर फॉर कॉम्प्लिमेंटरी अँड इंटेग्रेटीव्ह हेल्थ यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने वाचन संकल्प महाराष्ट्राचा या उपक्रमांतर्गत 'लेखक आपल्या भेटीला' हा कार्यक्रम दिनांक १३ जानेवारी २०२५ रोजी अँफी थिएटर, इरावती कर्वे शैक्षणिक संकुल, सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठ येथे पार पडला. 'जिनोम टू ओम' या नुकत्याच प्रकाशित झालेल्या पुस्तकाच्या निमित्ताने लेखक प्रा. भूषण पटवर्धन यांना आमंत्रित करण्यात आले होते. प्रा . पटवर्धन हे व्यासंगी संशोधक, शिक्षक व लेखक म्हणून प्रसिद्ध आहेत. त्यांनी मराठी व इंग्रजी भाषेत विपुल लेखन केले आहे. जागतिक स्तरावरील धोरणात्मक लिखाण, शास्त्रीय शोधप्रबंध ते सामान्य लोकांसाठी सोप्या भाषेत लेख व पुस्तके असे विविधप्रकार त्यांनी लिहिले आहेत. या कार्यक्रमाच्या निमित्ताने विविध विद्याशाखांमधील विद्यार्थी व शिक्षकांना प्रा. पटवर्धन यांच्याशी संवाद साधण्याची संधी मिळाली. या मुलाखतीत प्रा. पटवर्धन यांनी लेखक म्हणून त्यांची वाटचाल उलगडली.

प्रा. पटवर्धन यांच्या शैक्षणिक, संशोधन आणि जागतिक धोरणाच्या कार्यापासून विविध प्रेक्षकांसाठी पुस्तके आणि लेख लिहिण्यातील आव्हाने आणि आनंदापर्यंत विविध विषयांवर या कार्यक्रमात चर्चा केली.

या कार्यक्रमास ज्येष्ठ्य संपादक श्री. प्रभाकर खोले, श्री. मुकुंद संगोराम, श्रीमती अनुराधा मस्करेन्हास, श्री. आनंद आगाशे, श्री. सुरेशचंद्र पाध्ये आदी उपस्थित होते.

"या कार्यक्रमात सहभागी होणं आणि लेखक म्हणून माझा प्रवास इतक्या उत्साही प्रेक्षकांसोबत व्यक्त करणं ही माझ्यासाठी सन्मानाची गोष्ट आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांची उत्सुकता आणि अभ्यासपूर्ण प्रश्नांमुळे हा अनुभव खूप आनंददायी झाला." असे प्रा. पटवर्धन म्हणाले.

प्रा. पटवर्धन यांनी डॉ. गिरीश टिल्लू, प्रा. शुभदा नगरकर आणि इतर सहकारी ज्यांच्यामुळे हा कार्यक्रम संपन्न झाला त्यांचे कौतुक करत आभार मानले.
